Italian court rejects watchdog’s appeal over historic Serie A TV rights fines

Italy’s Council of State has rejected an appeal from the country’s competition watchdog, the AGCM, which sought to overturn a lower court ruling concerning the sale of broadcast rights to Serie A, the top division of domestic club football, for the seasons spanning 2015-16 to 2017-18.
